:flame: Hi welcome to the ADV films Fan club. An active club for the fans of ADV DVD titles such as: Kaleido Star, Cromartie high School, Maburaho Fullmetal Panic, DN Angel, Azumanga Daioh, Madlax, Gantz,

and manga titles such as: Yotsuba&!, Full metal Panic, Azumanga Daioh, Maburaho.

:? What is ADV films ADV films bring anime and manga series to America (and then through to Australia, the UK etc.) They have an extensive Catalog which includes DVD's, Manga, Merchandise and music.

Their particular area of expertise is DVD's followed closely by manga.

I'm not really a fan of ADV. I like them because they brought so many animes to North America but they suffer because their mediocre DVDs.

thank you for your opinion... I havent really read too many fan subs or watched many for that fact, so i cant personally compare the two...

a live action EVA movie certainly would be great

Not really a fan of ADV films as a company. They bastardize alot of good works (Like the Azumanga Diaoh series and Manga. I watched a Fansubbed and read the Scanlation of both of them, then watched teh ADV release, and I found the Fansubbed/Scanlation version to be funnier, and the tranlsation more accurate.), I think the Golden-age of ADV Films is over, because they have switched their priority of bringing quality anime to North America to making the almighty dollar.

They might redeem themselves with the Live action EVA movie.
